Dear teachers, parents and friends,親愛的老師、家長和朋友，It's my honor to speak to all of you today.今天，能夠站在這里向各位發(fā)言我感到十分榮幸。Twelve years ago, I was six.十二年前，我六歲。And I remember my first day of school.回首上學(xué)的第一天，那時(shí)的情景仍歷歷在目。My parents were here with their camera, taking pictures and wishing me well.那天，我的爸爸媽媽都來了，他們還帶了照相機(jī)給我拍照，并為我祝福。I was excited with my new school.來到新學(xué)校，我的心情格外激動(dòng)。I have studied here in this school for twelve years.我已經(jīng)在這所學(xué)校度過了12年的學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)光。In some ways, not much has changed.從某些方面來說，一切好像并沒有什么變化。Here I am today and my parents are here again.今天，我依然站在這里，而我的父母也再次來到了這里。But indeed something has changed.而事實(shí)上改變已悄然發(fā)生。Twelve years ago, I was excited, but I had no idea what journey I was about to begin.十二年前，我激動(dòng)萬分，但我并不知道我將在此開始怎樣的旅程。I had no idea that after first grade, there would be second grade and third grade and so on.我不知道過了一年級(jí)，還會(huì)有二年級(jí)、三年級(jí)，等等。I was just excited to be in the first grade.僅僅加入一年級(jí)就已經(jīng)讓我非常興奮了。Today, I’m excited, too.今天，我依然激動(dòng)萬分。I know that I'm on the first day of my future life.我知道我的未來將在今天起航！I'm encouraged by the words of one of the greatest American scientists - Allen Kay.一位偉大的美國科學(xué)家愛倫·凱曾說過一句話，讓我倍受鼓舞。He said, “The greatest way to predict the future is to invent it.”他說：“預(yù)測(cè)未來最好的方式就是去創(chuàng)造它。”Some of us here today are wondering what our lives are going to be like.今天，我們可能會(huì)猜想我們未來的生活將會(huì)如何。It's OK to wonder.猜想沒問題。But I think our future is not just something that happens to us.但我認(rèn)為我們的未來并不是偶然。It's up to us to create.未來要由我們自己創(chuàng)造。So my dear friends, take every chance that comes your way.所以我親愛的朋友們，請(qǐng)珍惜你們遇到的每一次機(jī)會(huì)。Take what you have learned in the past twelve years and put it to good use.帶上你們過去十二年里所學(xué)的知識(shí)，將其派上用場(chǎng)。Bring forward with you the lessons.與你們學(xué)到的經(jīng)驗(yàn)教訓(xùn)同行。They will be the working parts of your greatest invention - your life.它們定會(huì)在你的偉大創(chuàng)造——你的生命——中發(fā)揮作用！Thank you!謝謝大家！
