16　現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時態(tài)的基本用法　Track16

用法1：表示說話此刻正在進(jìn)行。

a. What program are you watching?　你正在看什么節(jié)目？

b. He is not available now. He is talking on another phone.

他現(xiàn)在沒空，他正在打電話。

c. Please don't make so much noise. I am studying.

請不要吵鬧，我在學(xué)習(xí)。

d. A: What are you reading now?　你在讀什么？

B: I am reading today's Evening News.　我在看今天的《晚報》。

用法2：表示現(xiàn)階段正在持續(xù)的動作。這時進(jìn)行時態(tài)表示的是一個一般性的活動，在說話時刻這個動作并不一定正在發(fā)生。

a. A: What are you doing these days?

B: I am learning the usage of verb tenses.

我正在學(xué)習(xí)動詞的時態(tài)用法。

b. These days I am translating a book.　這幾天我在翻譯一本書。

c. A: Are you working this week?

B: No, I am on holiday.

d. How are you getting along with your English? Is your English getting better?　最近你英文學(xué)得怎么樣？有提高嗎？

用法3：表示最近的將來已定的安排。通常含有“計劃”、“安排做”之意。

a. A: What are you doing on Saturday night?

B: I’m doing some shopping with Jane.

b. I am taking a makeup test tomorrow. 我明天要補(bǔ)考。

用法4：現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時常與always，forever，continually，constantly等連用，往往表示抱怨、厭煩、不合情理或使人不愉快的事。

a. Jack is always borrowing money and forgetting to pay you back.

杰克常常借錢忘還。

b. He's continually asking me for money.　他老是找我要錢。

c. My wife is forever looking for her keys.

我太太總是在找她的鑰匙。

d. How come Joe is always groaning about things?

喬為什么總是在抱怨？

e. He's always messing up the kitchen!　他總是把廚房弄得亂七八糟。
