我們來看第一題。中文句子是——我曾經(jīng)在五年前做過監(jiān)獄，釋放后我已經(jīng)改過自新了，可是人們還是處處找我的茬兒，挑我的刺。

英文句子是—— one time, I really prison I turned a new leaf, from jail. However, some of them have on my case what I five years . 這道題有12個空格，需要填寫的單詞依次如下: At，been，in，over，having, been, released，from，been， about，did，ago。順利地完成此題，關(guān)鍵是一些表達法和語法。

首先，我們來看表達法。曾經(jīng)的表述法是at one time。坐過監(jiān)獄的表述法是in prison。改過自新的表述法是turn over a new leaf。釋放的表述法是release sb from jail。挑刺找茬的表述法是on one's case。對......挑三揀四的表述法師on one's case about sth。下面我們就依次來看下這些短語。

1. at one time

這個短語的意思是改過自新，洗心革面，重新開始，重新做人。例如：You must turn over a new leaf and work as hard as possible. 你必須洗心革面，竭盡全力地工作。(as hard as possible 盡可能努力地;竭盡全力)I'm going to turn over a new leaf and I've decided to stop drinking wine. 我要革除惡習(xí)，決定戒酒了。(stop doing sth 停止做某事)

這個短語中的關(guān)鍵短語是turn sth over，它的意思是使......翻轉(zhuǎn)，把…翻過來。例如：Brown the meat on one side and then turn it over. 把肉的一面考黃，然后再翻轉(zhuǎn)過來拷另一面。Turn over the page and turn to page 19. 把這頁翻過去，翻到第19頁。

3. release sb from jail
