This morning, I am going to talk about a sentence pattern with you. It is : My suggestion is that somebody ( or something ) should do. 這個(gè)句式表達(dá)的意思是：我的建議是......, 我建議.......。

Let's make a sentence to get a grasp of it. Look at this sentence: My suggestion is that we should take the 6:00 train. 我的建議是乘坐6點(diǎn)鐘的火車(chē)。這是一個(gè)含有表語(yǔ)從句的復(fù)合句。主句是：my suggestion is, 從句是：that we should take the 6:00 train。在這個(gè)表語(yǔ)從句中，that 是連詞，連接主句和從句，后面的句子使用了虛擬語(yǔ)氣，我們可見(jiàn)謂語(yǔ)結(jié)構(gòu)是：should + take (動(dòng)詞原形) , 其中should 是可以省略的。省略后即是這個(gè)句子：My suggestion is that we take the 6:00 train. 由上可見(jiàn)，含有一個(gè)表語(yǔ)從句的復(fù)合句中的主句中的主語(yǔ)含有suggestion這個(gè)名詞時(shí)，表語(yǔ)從句要使用虛擬語(yǔ)氣。此外，這個(gè)句子中的一個(gè)短語(yǔ)我們要掌握：take the + 時(shí)間 + train 乘坐幾點(diǎn)鐘的火車(chē)【主題拓展】

Look at this one: His suggestion is that bright children ( should ) take their exams early. 他的建議是有天分的小孩提前考試。 我們已經(jīng)學(xué)過(guò)了虛擬語(yǔ)氣在suggest后面的賓語(yǔ)從句中的運(yùn)用，那么我們將以上句子用賓語(yǔ)從句來(lái)表述，則是：He has suggested that bight children ( should ) take their exams early. 我們還學(xué)過(guò)了把這個(gè)句子變成被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)，變?yōu)楸粍?dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)后就是一個(gè)主語(yǔ)從句。Have you remembered?How should we put it?
