英語(yǔ)早間課堂:Let's get this out in the open.
We've learnt ways of telling someone to keep a secret recently. And today let's have a summary. 1 Keep your mouth shut. 跟任何人說(shuō)都不行。
2 Not a word. 什么多別說(shuō)。不要再提。
3 My lips are sealed. 我會(huì)管好自己的嘴巴的。
4 I'm not one to kiss and tell. 我不是個(gè)泄露秘密(背信棄義)的人。

" It emphasize a state which is that the secret's been known to others. But "Ge t something out in the open. 【Grammar】working here 是現(xiàn)在分詞短語(yǔ)做原因狀語(yǔ)。該句可以轉(zhuǎn)換為原因狀語(yǔ)從句：I'm unhappy because I am working here.
3 Is there anything I can do to get you stay. 【Real Speech】[ize??,eniθi?aik?'du:d?'getju:'sdeihi]?]
【Translation】我們?cè)鯓幼霾拍苁鼓懔粝聛?lái)呢?
【Key words】 "Get" means "persuade, make somebody or something to do something ". 意思是：使，讓(某人)做(某事)，說(shuō)服某人做某事。For example : I couldn't get this car to start this morning. 今早我發(fā)動(dòng)不了我的車。He got his sister to help him with his homework.他說(shuō)服了他姐姐幫助他做家庭作業(yè)。Additionally, there's a phrase-get somebody or something doing something . Get 加上賓語(yǔ)加上現(xiàn)在分詞(短語(yǔ))。For example: Can you really get your old car going again? 你真的能是你的老爺車跑起來(lái)嗎?It's not hard to him talking-the problem is stopping him(=He is good at talking.). 讓他開(kāi)口不難，難的是讓他住口。
【Grammar】1 這是個(gè)含有定于從句的復(fù)合句。主句是Is there anything，從句是： I can do to get you stay。先行詞是不定代詞something，指代物，而且在從句中作賓語(yǔ)，我們可以選擇的是表物的關(guān)系代詞“which” 和“that”, 由于先行詞是不定代詞，只能用which, 在從句中充當(dāng)作賓語(yǔ)成分可以省去。
2 從句 I can do to get you stay中，to get you to stay 是動(dòng)詞不定時(shí)做目的狀語(yǔ)，而這個(gè)動(dòng)詞不定式中又有一個(gè)動(dòng)詞不定式：to stay做get后面的賓語(yǔ)you 的補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)。
