英語早間課堂:Just between us.
We've learnt four ways of telling somebody to keep a secret which are " Not a word. " ; " I am not one to kiss and tell. " ; " Keep it to yourself. " and " Keep your mouth shut. " And today I would like to share a new expression with you which means " Only you and I know. " which is way to say some information is very private. What's it? Let's listen to a simple situational dialogue and find it. A : Just between us . My marriage isn't going well . B : Are you fighting a lot with your husband?
【答疑解惑】
It is " Just between us ." We also can say "It's between you and me. " "It's between us. " "It's stays between us." "It stays here. " just 可以放在 between 和stay的前面，以表示強(qiáng)調(diào)。Just between us字面上的意思是：就在你和我之間。在口語中說及秘密時(shí)，意思就是：這是你我之間的秘密(談話)，不要告訴別人。

The above sentences are from hit American films . Here are some tips we should pay attention to. 1 Alright 就是 all right .但是在電影中經(jīng)常寫為:Alright.在《老友記》里面 come on 就寫為: c'mon. 2 Get an idea 意思是：想到一個(gè)注意。
3 Agreed 是個(gè)省略句。完整的句子是：Do you agree? 在影視腳本語言中，如果直接用實(shí)義動(dòng)詞來提問，相當(dāng)于一般疑問句， 那么就用這個(gè)實(shí)義動(dòng)詞的過去式。We've learnt "Do you understand?" 在影視中就是：Understood?

I will give explanations to you one by one. 1 just between us ['d??sbtwi:n?s] 【點(diǎn)撥】just 以爆破輔音[t]結(jié)尾， between 又以爆破輔音 [d] 開頭，因此前一個(gè)爆破輔音[t] 這時(shí)就要保持沉默了。Between 以輔音[n] 結(jié)尾, us 以元音 [ ?] 開頭，可以進(jìn)行連讀。 The stress falls on the first syllable .
2 isn't going [[i'zn'g?ui?]
【點(diǎn)撥】isn't 以爆破輔音[t]結(jié)尾，而going 又以 爆破輔音[g] 開頭，因此前面的[t]不發(fā)音。The stresses fall on the second and the third syllable. 3 with you [wieju:] 【點(diǎn)撥】with 以輔音[e]結(jié)尾，you的發(fā)音半元音[ju:], 可以進(jìn)行連讀。
4 fighting ['fa?din]
【點(diǎn)撥】美語中[t??]發(fā)音為[din]. 句子中的連讀濁音等一要看規(guī)則，而要就住特例。
Let's look at the stresses in the following sentences. They depends on a conversational dialogue in which how the speaker's mood is and your language sense .

一個(gè)句子的重音判斷一要看整個(gè)對(duì)話的情景，說話者的語氣，還有一個(gè)很重要的是我們的語感。

【關(guān)鍵詞】In this sentence "go" which is a key word refers to progress. It's used to talk about how well or badly something makes progress or succeeds. 意思是：(事情)進(jìn)展，進(jìn)行。We'er very familiar with the two sentences orally which are : Did everything go smoothly? 一切都順利嗎?How's it going? It goes well. 近況如何?很好。
【文法】這句中用現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)表示經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)的情況。Well 是副詞，修飾 go，做狀語，表程度。
Are you fighting a lot with your husband?
【翻譯】你經(jīng)常和你丈夫吵架嗎?
【關(guān)鍵詞】In this sentence "fight" means "to have an argument ". Here is a set phrase which is " fight with somebody about something", about 可以改為over, 意思是：因某事和某人吵架，爭辯。For example: It's a trivial matter and not worth fighting about. 這是樁小事，不值得爭吵。
【文法】此句中用現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)表示經(jīng)常發(fā)生的事情。A lot 是副詞短語修飾fight , 表頻率。With your husband 是介詞短語，修飾fight, 表對(duì)象。
