1. 強調句經常被插入的定語從句分隔，這時要理順其中的關系。

Was it the teacher to whom my father talked yesterday that teaches you English?

就是我父親昨天與其談話的那個老師教你們英語嗎？

It was on the farm where we worked that I got to know her.

就是在我們工作過的農場上我認識了她。

It is in this room where the meeting is being held now that I left my umbrella that day.

我那天就是把雨傘丟在現(xiàn)在正在開會的那個房間里了。

2. 強調句經常被插入的短語分隔。

I think it's the driver rather than the passengers who is to blame for the accident.

我認為是司機而不是乘客應該為車禍負責。

3. 強調句經常被插入的同位語從句分隔。

It was the decision that we should send more firefighters there that made Mr. Fox pleased.

正是我們應該派更多消防隊員去那里的決定使福克斯先生很高興。

Could it be the idea that we should have a rest that made him pleased?

可能會是我們應該休息一下的主意使他高興起來的嗎？
