Prosecutors are charging 54-year-old Theodore Wafer with three criminal counts _3_ second degree murder in the shooting death of Renisha McBride. Wafer was not immediately _4_ after the shooting, and the civil rights groups suggest race was a factor. Wafer is a white. He allegedly shot the 19-year-old McBride, an unarmed black woman, in front of his Dearborn Heights colony early morning hours. Wafer told the police ：thought McBride was breaking in, but Wayne County prosecutor Kym Worthy says the evidence warns a murder charge.
