You need to be real with who you are. If you're disappointed with your grades, what could you have done differently? Did you really study to your full potential? Did you really not procrastinate at all when you were revising?

 

你需要面對(duì)真實(shí)的自己。如果你對(duì)成績(jī)不滿意，那么請(qǐng)思考，你本來可以怎么做？在你學(xué)習(xí)的時(shí)候，你有沒有盡全力？在你復(fù)習(xí)的時(shí)候，有沒有拖延？

 

And when you look deep within you, it can get raw, and it can get ugly sometimes when you're looking in the mirror, but if you're not real with who you are, then nothing's gonna change. But you will be bold and courageous enough to look in the mirror, and fix what's in that mirror.

當(dāng)你審視自己的內(nèi)心，你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)，真相可能令你難以接受。有時(shí)候，當(dāng)你看著鏡子里的自己，你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)自己很丑陋。但是，如果你不面對(duì)真實(shí)的自己，就無法改變?nèi)魏问虑?。你要變得足夠勇敢，去直面鏡子里的自己，去解決你的問題。

 

If you do the studying, and you go after it long enough, you will get the grades you're aiming for. That's all it is. There's no shortcut. There's no easy road. To get good grades, you have to be the best version of you possible. It will not have it by cutting corners, or taking shortcuts, or looking for the easy way.

如果你認(rèn)真學(xué)習(xí)，并且堅(jiān)持足夠長(zhǎng)的時(shí)間，你的成績(jī)就會(huì)達(dá)到目標(biāo)。就這么簡(jiǎn)單，沒有什么捷徑可走，沒有哪條路是容易的。要想得到好成績(jī)，你就要變成最優(yōu)秀的自己。耍詭計(jì)，走捷徑，尋求安逸的道路，這些都是沒用的。

 

There's no easy way. There's only hard work, late nights, early mornings, hard work, studying, preparing, stress, frustration, discipline, and repeat. You need to have the discipline. It will drive you to study, when you don't feel like studying. Discipline defeats the infinite excuses that forces procrastination on us.

沒有哪條路是容易的。你只能去努力拼搏，用功到深夜，一大早起床，不斷付出，不斷學(xué)習(xí)，不斷做準(zhǔn)備，面對(duì)壓力，面對(duì)沮喪，學(xué)會(huì)自律，不斷重復(fù)。你需要自律，因?yàn)?，在你不想學(xué)習(xí)的時(shí)候，它會(huì)讓你有學(xué)習(xí)的動(dòng)力。我們會(huì)為自己的拖延找借口，但如果你足夠自律，你就能避免這些。

 

I'm here to make a dent in the universe. You will never hear me complain that it's someone else's fault. Why I'm not getting the grades I have the potential of achieving? If I don't like where I am, I'll work harder. My current situation is a perfect reflection of the hard work or lack of work I put in.

我要讓全世界都注意到我。你絕不會(huì)聽見我抱怨別人。我的潛力本可以讓我得到更好的成績(jī)，但為什么我沒能做到？如果我不滿足于現(xiàn)狀，那么我就會(huì)更加努力。我的現(xiàn)狀取決于我投入的努力。

 

When you look at the all-time greats, there's one thing in common among them all. They all have relentless, sickening work ethic.

如果你觀察那些流芳百世的人，你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)他們有一個(gè)共同點(diǎn)。他們的工作熱情都是發(fā)揮到了極致，他們對(duì)自己非常狠，甚至接近瘋狂。

 

Those moments that you think you don't want to do something, when you want to procrastinate, when you think I'll do it tomorrow, that's exactly when you have to go for it. When things get hard, don't ever ask, why me? Dig deep down and say, try me! Because I'm stronger than anything you can throw at me. Because I've been down that dark path.

當(dāng)你覺得不想做事情的時(shí)候，當(dāng)你想拖延，想明天再做的時(shí)候，這就是你必須采取行動(dòng)的時(shí)候。如果事情變得困難，不要問，為什么要我承受這些？要深入挖掘，不斷努力，大聲說，讓暴風(fēng)雨來得更猛烈些吧！因?yàn)椋瑹o論我遇到什么困難，我都不會(huì)被打倒！因?yàn)?，那條最黑暗的路，我已經(jīng)走過了！

 

You have two choices. You can make excuses, or you can study. And guess what, excuses are what separates you from owning the life that you want. You've got to make a decision, to stop making excuses and get it done.

你有兩個(gè)選擇，你可以找借口，或者你可以開始學(xué)習(xí)。借口只會(huì)讓你離你的理想生活越來越遠(yuǎn)。你必須做決定，不要再找借口了，采取行動(dòng)，把事情完成。

 

There's nobody in this world that's going to get you what you want. You're going to have to go out there, and get what you want, by studying hard. Being talented is not good enough. You've got to study hard and you've got to work hard.

沒有人會(huì)幫你實(shí)現(xiàn)夢(mèng)想，你必須自己努力學(xué)習(xí)，去面對(duì)一切，這樣才能爭(zhēng)取到你想要的東西。如果你有天賦，這還遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不夠。你必須努力學(xué)習(xí)，你必須努力奮斗。
