Let me tell you a story. It's a story about life, a story about what is likely coming your way. If you don't understand the power of human life, then human life will be hard. If you do understand how great you can be, your life will be whatever you want it to be.

 

讓我跟你講一個(gè)故事，它跟生命有關(guān)，它跟你將會(huì)遇到的事情有關(guān)。如果你不了解生命的力量，那么你的人生就會(huì)遇到困難。如果你知道自己有多偉大，那么你就能過(guò)上你想擁有的生活。

 

When you grow up, it's likely many will encourage you down paths you don't want to go, paths never meant for you. Many will believe they know what is best for you. How can anyone else know what is best for you? They can't. Only you know what is best for you. Let me make it clear. No one, not even your mom or your dad, no one, knows what is best for you, except you. Always be gracious enough to listen to others' opinions, but be strong enough to know they are just opinions. You decide what is your truth.

在你成長(zhǎng)的過(guò)程中，很多人可能會(huì)鼓勵(lì)你去走那些你不想走的路，那些本來(lái)就不該是你走的路。很多人認(rèn)為，他們知道什么對(duì)你是最好的。讓我告訴你吧，除了你自己之外，沒(méi)有人知道什么對(duì)你是最好的，包括你父母。別人給你提建議的時(shí)候，你要感激，但是你的內(nèi)心要足夠強(qiáng)大，要知道，那些只是別人的建議而已，而決定你的人生的，是你自己。

 

How do you know what is your truth? You feel it in your heart. That is called your intuition. It never lies. It always knows the right path to choose. Just make sure you get still, quiet and listen. You can't hear your intuition when it is clouded by noise. When life is loud, and the noise is deafening, take a moment, be alone and be still. You will hear the answers. You'll hear the truth.

你怎么知道什么才是你的真理？你能從內(nèi)心感受到它，這就是我們所說(shuō)的直覺(jué)，它從來(lái)不會(huì)說(shuō)謊，它總是知道哪條才是正確的道路。你一定要有定力，內(nèi)心平靜，仔細(xì)聆聽(tīng)。如果外部世界很吵，你就無(wú)法感知自己的直覺(jué)。如果你的生活很嘈雜，噪音震耳欲聾，那么請(qǐng)你留出一點(diǎn)時(shí)間，和自己相處，靜下來(lái)。你會(huì)聽(tīng)到答案，你會(huì)聽(tīng)到你的真理。

 

Some may say it is selfish to do only what is best for you. You will soon learn that is not true. For what is best for you, is always what is best for others. Especially those that don't understand what is best for them. Don't be a people pleaser. You will end up pleasing no one. When you go to school, they will teach you it is best to play it safe. Get a job, something secure, do what everyone else does. Do your best, in everything you do. Learn all you can. Grow all you can, and know it doesn't matter your education, or qualifications. It matters your will. A piece of paper doesn't determine your outcome. You do. Do what is right, not what is easy. The easy option almost always leads to a hard life.

有的人可能會(huì)說(shuō)，如果你只做有利于自己的事，那是很自私的。很快，你就會(huì)明白，這是錯(cuò)誤的說(shuō)法。因?yàn)?，有利于你的事，往往也是有利于別人的事，尤其是那些不知道什么才是對(duì)自己最好的人。不要討好別人，這樣沒(méi)有人會(huì)喜歡你。你上學(xué)的時(shí)候，人們會(huì)教你，你最好選擇有把握的事。找工作，找到穩(wěn)定的生計(jì)，和每個(gè)人一樣。用盡全力做所有的事，盡量多學(xué)知識(shí)，多成長(zhǎng)。你要明白，你的教育和資質(zhì)并不那么重要，最重要的是你的意志。決定你的未來(lái)的，不是一紙文憑，而是你自己。做正確的事，而不是容易的事。選擇容易的事，往往會(huì)讓生活變得困難。

 

I want to give you life's greatest gift. The gift is not money. It is not anything of financial value. But it is much more valuable. It is the gift of knowing that you control your thoughts, the gift of knowing you can have be and do anything you want in this world. There are no limits to what you can achieve. I want you to feel the truth in that, feel it with all your heart, because the people that achieve great things in this world are the ones that believe they can achieve great things.

我想把生命最偉大的禮物送給你，它不是金錢(qián)，它跟金錢(qián)無(wú)關(guān)，但是它比金錢(qián)更有價(jià)值。這個(gè)禮物就是，讓你知道，你決定了自己的思想，你可以成為任何人，你能夠做成任何事，你的能力沒(méi)有極限。我想要你明白這個(gè)道理，從心底里明白它，因?yàn)槟切┯兴删偷娜耍褪悄切┫嘈抛约耗苡兴删偷娜恕?/p>

 

You can have anything. You can be and do anything. You can change this world for the better. You will attract into your life whatever it is you believe you deserve. You were not put on this earth to be like everyone else. Be the greatest version of you. Yes, you will have to work hard to make things happen. Yes, you will have to persist. Yes, you will go through many ups and downs, and yes, you will have to learn the hard way. Yes, life will challenge you. Life will test you. But know always there are no mistakes.

你能擁有任何東西，你能成為任何人，你能做成任何事，你能讓這個(gè)世界變得更美好。你相信的東西，你值得擁有的東西，都會(huì)被你吸引。你來(lái)到這個(gè)地球上，不是為了和別人一樣。你要做最好的自己。沒(méi)錯(cuò)，你要很努力，才能做成大事。沒(méi)錯(cuò)，你必須堅(jiān)持到底。沒(méi)錯(cuò)，你會(huì)經(jīng)歷起起落落。沒(méi)錯(cuò)，你會(huì)得到很多教訓(xùn)。沒(méi)錯(cuò)，生活會(huì)向你發(fā)出挑戰(zhàn)，生活會(huì)考驗(yàn)?zāi)恪５?，要知道，沒(méi)有什么是錯(cuò)誤的。

 

I want you to know that deep down people are good. Have compassion for others. I want you to know that you are blessed. I want you to know the greatest power on earth is in one word, gratitude. If you are grateful every day for what you do have, you will soon have more to be grateful for. If you aren't grateful for anything, if you complain about everything, you will soon have much more to complain about. These are universal laws.

我想讓你知道，在內(nèi)心深處，人們都是善良的，你要同情他人。我想讓你知道，你很有福氣。我想讓你知道，世界上最強(qiáng)大的力量，都能用一個(gè)詞概括，那就是，感恩。如果，每一天，你都能感恩自己擁有的東西，那么，你很快就會(huì)擁有更多值得感恩的事。如果，你對(duì)什么都不感恩，如果你總是在抱怨，那么，你很快就會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)，要抱怨的事情太多了。這些道理，是放之四海皆準(zhǔn)的。

 

I want you to know that working on yourself and your happiness is just as important as working on your physical health, just as important as working on your finances. It is something you should be doing every day. It is more important than your work, than money and anything material. With a strong mind and unbreakable spirit, nothing can ever defeat you. I want you to know you that sometimes life isn't fair. Sometimes things happen, that no one can explain or justify. Know that humans are mostly good. Even the worst among us, they have only learnt their behaviors from others. If they knew better, they'd do better.

我想讓你知道，努力發(fā)展自己，保持快樂(lè)，這和保持健康一樣重要，跟掙錢(qián)一樣重要。這是你每天都應(yīng)該做的事，它比你的工作，比金錢(qián)，比任何物質(zhì)，都重要。如果你有堅(jiān)強(qiáng)的意志，堅(jiān)不可摧的精神，那么什么都無(wú)法打敗你。我想讓你知道，有時(shí)候，生活就是不公平的。有時(shí)候，一些事情發(fā)生了，沒(méi)人能夠解釋這是為什么。你要知道，大多數(shù)人都是好人。即使是壞人，他們的行為也是從別人身上學(xué)來(lái)的。如果他們學(xué)的東西更好，那么他們也會(huì)做得更好。

 

The truth is that life is a miracle. You are a miracle. Learn how you came into this world. That is all you need to know to believe in miracles, to know you are here for a purpose, to know your life has immense value, to know you are a powerful creator. If you look for miracles, you will see plenty. Just keep your eyes open and they will appear. I promise you that. And life will love you back.

生命是個(gè)奇跡，這就是真理。你，就是一個(gè)奇跡。去了解一下，你是怎么來(lái)到這個(gè)世界上的，那樣你就會(huì)相信奇跡了，你就會(huì)相信，你是有使命的，你的生命擁有極大的價(jià)值，你是個(gè)很有力量的創(chuàng)造者。如果你尋找奇跡，那么你就會(huì)看到很多奇跡。我向你保證，只要你保持關(guān)注，奇跡很快就會(huì)出現(xiàn)，生活會(huì)讓你感受到它的愛(ài)。
