I am a flower. Yes, I'm beautiful. I've heard it before and it never grows old.

 

我是一朵花。是的，我很漂亮。我曾聽過這句話，并且這句話永遠不會過時。

 

I'm worshiped for my looks, my scent, my looks.

我因為我的外表受到仰慕。不僅是我的外表，還有我的香味。

 

But here's the thing: Life starts with me.

但事實是這樣的：生命起源于我。

 

You see I feed people. Every fruit comes from me. Every potato. Me. Every kernel of corn. Me. Every grain of rice. Me.

你看，我喂養(yǎng)了人們。所有的水果來源于我。每一顆土豆來源于我。每一粒玉米來源于我。每一粒大米來源于我。

 

Me, me, me, I know. But it's true.

我，一直都是我，我懂。但這是真的。

 

And sometimes I feed their souls. I am their words when they have none.

而有時，我滋潤了他們的靈魂。當(dāng)他們無言時，我就是他們的話語。

 

I say "I love you," without a sound. "I'm sorry," without a voice.

不用出聲，我說“我愛你”。不用言語，我說“對不起”。

 

I inspire the greatest of them. Painters, poets, pattern makers. I've been a Muse to them all.

我喚起了人最美好的那一部分。畫家，詩人，設(shè)計師。我是他們所有人的繆斯。

 

But in my experience, people underestimate the power of a pretty little flower.

但在我看來，人們低估了一朵美麗的花的能力。

 

Because their life does start with me and it could end without me.

因為他們的生活確實起源于我，也會因為沒有我而結(jié)束。
