Who is your enemy? In a war you must know whom you're fighting. And in life, did you know that your real enemy is in your own mind? You see nothing can defeat or ruin your life more than your own wrong thinking about yourself. If you believe and think that you're not smart, or that you're lazy, and you'll never succeed in life, that's just what you'll be.
誰(shuí)是你的敵人？戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)的首要原則是你必須知道在與誰(shuí)決戰(zhàn)。在人生中，你是否認(rèn)識(shí)到，你真正的敵人是你自己的心靈呢？沒(méi)有什么東西比你對(duì)自己的誤識(shí)更能擊敗和中傷你了。如果你認(rèn)為自己不夠敏慧，人也懶散，那你就會(huì)終生一事無(wú)成，你會(huì)真的像你以為的那樣生活。
Because we become whatever we think we are. That's why the Bible says: "As a man sees himself, so is that man or woman." So friend,your low self-confidence will limit and paralyze you. You really have many abilities, but if you don't believe you have them, you'll never use them. And your fear of failing or being rejected by people can stop you from moving ahead in life.
因?yàn)槲覀兪亲约核J(rèn)為的自己。這就是為什么《圣經(jīng)》上會(huì)寫(xiě)："他心怎樣思量，他為人就是怎樣。"朋友，你消沉的自信心將限制你，擊垮你。你可能真的具有許多能力，但如果你不相信自己擁有它們。那你就水遠(yuǎn)也不會(huì)去發(fā)揮它們。懼怕失敗和擔(dān)心別人的排斥，這些會(huì)阻止你邁向成功。
You know that in zoos, a baby elephant is tied with a thick chain to a strong post, a strong pillar? And At first, the elephant pulls and tries to get free from the chain. But finally it gives up and stops pulling. After that, only a thin rope is all that's needed to tie that big elephant down.
你知道嗎？在動(dòng)物園里，一只小象被一條結(jié)實(shí)的鏈子拴在一根堅(jiān)固的柱子上。起初，小象奮力掙脫，想擺脫鎖鏈的束縛而獲自由，但最終它放棄了，停止了掙脫。此后，僅需一根細(xì)繩子就可以約束這個(gè)龐然大物了。
Because the rest of his life, that elephant believes he is stuck and he doesn't have the strength to break that little thin rope. You see friend, we all can become like that elephant. Because if I let myself think that I can't go any further in life than this, then I won't go any further.Just think a minute...
