快來(lái)，參加今晚聚會(huì)，

For friendship, there, with stronger chain,

連結(jié)一條，友誼的紐帶，

Devoted hearts already bound for good or ill, will bind again. I went.

憧憬的心，跳躍不停，無(wú)論未來(lái)如何，我們心心相印。

Nature and art their stores outpoured;

天籟自然，袒露內(nèi)心真誠(chéng)，

Joy beamed in every kindling glance;

笑語(yǔ)歡歌，滿(mǎn)面春風(fēng)送迎，

Love, friendship, youth, and beauty smiled;

關(guān)愛(ài)叮嚀，譜寫(xiě)難忘青春，

What could that evening's bliss enhance? We parted.

祝福聲聲，揮手茲別壯行。

And years have flown; but where are now The guests who round that table met?

歲月穿梭，依稀已非從前，分聚離散，陌路難得相見(jiàn)，

Rises their sun as gloriously,

星光閃爍，重逢已是不堪，

As on the banquet's eve it set?

是否記起，昨日笑容燦爛？

How holds the chain which friendship wove?

何以維系，曾經(jīng)友誼紐帶？

It broke; and soon the hearts it bound,

分道揚(yáng)鑣，暢懷交流不再，

Were widely sundered; and for peace,

嫉妒沖突，甚至流血，

Envy and strife and blood were found.

尋覓安寧，難道竟是永遠(yuǎn)分開(kāi)？

The merriest laugh which then was heard,

開(kāi)懷的笑聲，重新蕩漾，

Has changed its tones to maniac screams,

改弦易張， 恍然回眸擁抱，

As half-quenched memory kindles up,

沉寂的內(nèi)心，再次照亮，

Glimmerings of guilt in feverish dreams.
