Heap high the farmer's wintry hoard!
將農(nóng)夫冬天的囤垛堆高，
Heap high the golden corn!
將金色玉米垛堆高！
No richer gift has Autumn poured from out her lavish horn!
秋天流瀉的豐收，無與倫比，來自大地慷慨的豐饒。
Let other lands, exulting, glean the apple from the pine,
無數(shù)雙手，歡欣翻飛，將蘋果，從樹上摘下來；
The orange from its glossy green,
將柑橘，從翠葉中采下來；
The cluster from the vine;
將葡萄，從藤蔓中剪下來。
We better love the hardy gift, our rugged vales bestow,
溪谷崎嶇，山巒起伏，那耐寒植物，令人景仰，
To cheer us, when the storm shall drift our harvest fields with snow.
落雪成壅，悄然蓋住，狂風(fēng)不會刮走，良田莊稼。
Through vales of grass and meads of flowers our plows their furrows made,
河谷青翠，鋪滿鮮花，劃出深淺轍溝，堅硬鏵犁，
While on the hills the sun and showers of changeful April played.
陽光照耀，風(fēng)櫛雨露，四月明媚，春風(fēng)如煦如畫。
We dropped the seed o'er hill and plain,
溝谷平原，人們播撒種子，
Beneath the sun of May,
希望蟄伏，初夏金色陽光，
And frightened from our sprouting grain the robber crows away.
一片片，唰唰聲中生長的綠芽，驚飛起，田野成群的烏鴉。
All through the long, bright days of June,
六月烈日，炙熱漫長，
Its leaves grew green and fair,
搖曳起，滿地青春旗幟，
And waved in hot midsummer's noon, Its soft and yellow hair.
仲夏月光下，波濤起伏，轉(zhuǎn)眼間，換上金色盛裝。
And now, with Autumn's moonlit eves,
秋天的月，黑夜孕育出，
Its harvest time has come;
金秋的誕生，莊嚴(yán)隆重，
We pluck away the frosted leaves and bear the treasure home.
將豐收果實，收獲回家，留下，田野霜打的頹顏。
