We are on a journey.
我們在旅途中。
Wherever you are, and whoever you may be, there is one thing in which you and I are just alike at this moment,
不論你處在什么地方，也不論你是什么人，不管是在此時此刻，還是在我們生命中的任何一個瞬間，
and in all the moments of our existence.
有一件事對你我來說是恰巧相同的。
We are not at rest; we are on a journey.
我們不是在休息，我們是在一次旅途中。
Our life is a movement, a tendency, ceaseless progress toward an unseen goal.
我們的生活是一種運動，一種趨勢，是向一個看不見的目標(biāo)穩(wěn)定而不停地進步。
We are gaining something, or losing something, everyday.
每一天，我們都會贏得某些東西，或者會失去某些東西。
Even when our position and our character seem to remain precisely the same, they are changing.
甚至當(dāng)我們的位置和我們的性格看起來跟以前完全相似時，它們事實上仍然在變化著。
For the mere advance of time is a change.
僅僅是時間的前進就是一種變化。
It is not the same thing to have a bare field in January and in July.
對于一塊荒地來說，在1月和7月是不同的。
The season makes the difference.
季節(jié)會制造差異。
The limitations that are childlike in the children are childish in the man.

Everything that we do is a step in one direction or another.

Even the failure to do something is in itself a deed.

the sea is too deep, you could not find an anchorage if you would; there can be no pause until you come into port.
海是如此之深，你也不可能找到一個拋錨的地方，于是你不可能停下來，直到你到達自己的港口。
