I want to make for the highest point on this ancient volcano 我想登上這座古老火山的最高點(diǎn)

for the best view of what this island has to offer, 以便弄清 這小島之中有何玄機(jī)

but this terrain is difficult and unpredictable. 但是這里的地形實(shí)在令人難以琢磨

Another big drop. Look.Trying to reach that high point is not proving easy. 又是一個(gè)大峭壁 瞧 想到達(dá)那個(gè)高點(diǎn)不是件容易事

So, millions of years,just wind and weather has eroded all this volcanic rock 幾百萬(wàn)年來(lái) 承受了無(wú)盡的風(fēng)吹日曬

into these sort of pinnacles and towers,and then with these very steep, sheer drop-offs. 火山巖被腐蝕成了這種異常陡峭的 尖頂塔形峭壁

It must be 100 foot down there, you know? 肯定有100英尺高 知道嗎

It's just whether we can jump across to this bit. 能不能跳過(guò)去 在此一搏

Okay, focus on the landing, babe. Here we go. 準(zhǔn)備 注意著陸 好家伙 來(lái)吧

Good one to have got right.Come on, guys. Keep going. 多虧找準(zhǔn)了地方 跟上 伙計(jì)們 繼續(xù)前進(jìn)

I've reached the top,but what seemed to be one island is, in fact, two, 我到達(dá)了頂峰 本以為這是孤島 現(xiàn)在發(fā)現(xiàn)它并不"孤獨(dú)"

and it looks like I might be on the wrong one. 看起來(lái) 我所在的這座 更難征服

I reckon at one time,all of this would have been just one island, 我想曾經(jīng)這些 同是一個(gè)島

but you see now it's separated by this stretch of water. 但是你瞧現(xiàn)在 被這條海峽分開(kāi)了

Yeah, but that island's way bigger.It's gonna have more resources on it, 沒(méi)錯(cuò) 但是那個(gè)島大多了 上邊肯定有更多資源

and as a survivor, your chances're gonna be better over there. 在那邊 生存下去的幾率更大

But there's a problem.You can see a shark down there. 但是有一個(gè)問(wèn)題 看到下邊那有條鯊魚(yú)了吧

Now, that's gonna be the challenge of trying to cross this stretch of water. 想要穿過(guò)這個(gè)海峽 那可是個(gè)挑戰(zhàn)

But, you know, I reckon it's worth the risk.Okay, come on, let's get down to this. 但是 我想值得一搏 好了 來(lái)吧 我們下去那里
