First job, the tripod,then build a platform at the bottom 首先 搭好三腳架 然后三角架底部搭個平臺

and cover it with dried grass which will light fast. 再把容易點著的干草放上去

And these flip-flops make a load of black smoke, 這些塑料拖鞋可以制造黑煙

and black smoke is gonna stand out because it's a good contrast and looks very unnatural. 黑煙與周圍反差明顯 容易引人注意 一看就知道是有人刻意為之的

They're not gonna mistake that for a bush fire. 而不會被人當(dāng)成一般的山火

Once the fire is built, make a torch to light it. 火堆搭好后 做個火把將之點燃即可

The important thing about a torch is that when you want it to light, 做火把的關(guān)鍵在于 要用到它的時候

it goes straight away first time.And all of this is just dry banana husk 它必須能一下子就被點著 這些干的芭蕉葉子就可以

Really rough it up,so it's nice and fibrous and will take a spark. 好好搓一搓 讓它們的纖維搓出來 這樣就容易點燃

Rains come fast and heavy here. 這里雨總是來得又急又大

If the grass gets a soaking, it will never light,so cover it to keep the water out. 要是干草堆受了潮 那就點不著了 所以需要在外面包點東西以防水

Banana leaves are perfect.Okay, that will do it. 芭蕉葉是不二之選 行了 應(yīng)該可以了

Hopefully, this will stay dry, and when I need it alight,whip it away, get it going. 希望在需要點火的時候它還是干的 到時候把外面的一掀 就可以用了

In my next challenge, there's a prize worth fighting for...a large rope beached in a steep gully. 下一個挑戰(zhàn) 要不惜一切拿到它 一根在陡峭的溪谷下的粗繩子
