This tunnel is a bizzarerelic of Vietnam's colonial past. 這條隧道是過去越南作為法國殖民地遺跡

Under French rule,a network of railways was built throughout the country. 在法國的統(tǒng)治之下 一條鐵路網(wǎng)連通了這整個國家

But after the conflict with America, raw materials became scarce, 但是在越南戰(zhàn)爭以后 保留下來的就很少了

and the Vietnamese pulled up the railway tracks for scrap metal, 再加上 越南人把鐵軌拆下來當(dāng)廢鐵用

leaving tunnel like this to fall into ruin. 就留下了這樣的廢棄 坍塌的隧道

It's just decades and decades of miles of water, 經(jīng)過了多年雨水的沖刷

filled up through here.You might well get things...living in this water. Just keep your eye open up. 隧道里積滿了水 你要當(dāng)心水里的生物 時刻睜大你的雙眼
