If your companions do not love you, it is your own fault.
如果你的伙伴不愛你，這是你自己的錯。
They can not help loving you if you will be kind and friendly.
如果你愿意做一個(gè)善良和友好的人，他們無法不愛你。
If you are not loved, it is a good proof that you do not deserve to be loved.
如果別人不愛你，這證明你不值得愛。
It is true that a sense of duty may, at times, render it necessary for you to do that which will displease your companions.
盡管責(zé)任感有時(shí)讓你必須做使伙伴感到不快的事，這是個(gè)事實(shí)。
But if it is seen that you have a noble spirit, that you are above selfishness,
但是如果他人看到你有一顆高尚的心靈，超越自私，
that you are willing to make saCRIfices to promote the happiness of others, you will never be in want of friends.
愿意為他人的幸福犧牲自己，你永遠(yuǎn)也不會缺少朋友。
You must not regard it as your misfortune that others do not love you, but your fault.
如果別人不愛你，你不要認(rèn)為這是你的不幸，而是你的過錯。
It is not beauty, it is not wealth, that will give you friends.
使你擁有朋友的不是美麗，也不是財(cái)富。
Your heart must glow with kindness, if you would attract to yourself the esteem and affection of those around you.
如果你想贏得周圍人的尊敬和友誼，你的心必須洋溢著善意。
You are little aware how much the happiness of your whole life depends upon the cultivation of a good disposition.
你很少意識到你整個(gè)生命的幸福是多么有賴于對良好性格的培養(yǎng)。
If you will adopt the resolution that you will confer favors whenever you can, you will certainly be surrounded by ardent friends.
如果你決心不論何時(shí)只要你有能力就幫助他人，你當(dāng)然會被熱心的朋友包圍。
Begin upon this principle in childhood, and act upon it through life, and you will make yourself happy, and promote the happiness of all within your influence.
從童年起就遵循這一原則，整個(gè)一生都奉行它，你將會讓自己幸福，并能使受到你影響的人幸福。
