其實(shí)不是特別想說王寶強(qiáng)離婚。但有不少聽眾問美國人的離婚也會變成全民大戲嗎?反過來想想，探討中美文化和思想，也是我們節(jié)目的特色。不過，感情、婚姻只有當(dāng)事人清楚。所以我們今天就把焦點(diǎn)放在相關(guān)的英語上吧!也能學(xué)到不少!

It's unfortunate since so many Olympian athletes are currently pouring out their blood, sweat and tears in Rio: 其實(shí)挺悲哀的，運(yùn)動員在里約奧運(yùn)拼搏自己的血淚汗水，但媒體都是王寶強(qiáng)的事兒

分手、離婚，有人撕破臉、有人相對和平

兩敗俱傷、雞飛狗跳：

nasty breakup: 兩敗俱傷的分手

ugly breakup: 鬧得很不好看、丑陋的分手

維持和平、友好：

amicable breakup: 和平分手

分手、離婚英語怎么說?

Breakup, split up: 分手、分開

You can use these 2 words for both married and unmarried couples: 這兩個(gè)詞無論戀愛分手、還是離婚，都可以用

Divorce: 離婚

When couples are separated, it means they're still legally married but living apart from each other: 結(jié)婚的人分居，雖然法律上還是夫妻，但是事實(shí)上已經(jīng)分居

Some people work it out during this period of separation: 有些人分開的這段時(shí)間，可以解決、化解矛盾

They've worked it out/worked things out: 解決、化解矛盾

If they can't work it out, they'll file for divorce: 如果不行，就提出離婚

外遇、出軌

Wang Baoqiang is accusing his wife of cheating on him with his agent: 王寶強(qiáng)控訴太太和經(jīng)紀(jì)人出軌、外遇

cheating on someone: 欺騙另一半，指出軌、有外遇

(cheating on a test): 考試作弊

Two-timing：腳踏兩條船，但是這個(gè)說法比較過時(shí)

unfaithful: 不忠

someone is caught cheating: 被捉奸

gossipy: 很八卦

各執(zhí)一詞，He said/she said

It's a "he said she said" situation/it's all "he said she said" : 男女雙方各執(zhí)一詞

No one knows what goes on in a marriage and no one will ever know: 婚姻的事，外人怎么搞得清?

美國人最關(guān)心的明星離婚: Johnny Depp

美國近來也有一對明星離婚鬧得沸沸揚(yáng)揚(yáng)。就是大明星，《加勒比海盜》系列男主Johnny Depp和小自己十幾歲的明星嫩妻Amber Heard。女方控訴男方家暴，男方也控訴女方各種不是。

She's accusing him of domestic abuse/domestic violence: 女方控訴男方家暴

One meaning of domestic is within the country: 說到航班，domestic有一個(gè)意思是國內(nèi)，例如domestic flights, 國內(nèi)航班

Domestic can also mean within a marriage or home: domestic還有個(gè)意思是家庭內(nèi)部的

domestic abuse/domestic violence：家庭暴力

domestic abuser or abuser: 實(shí)施家暴那方

It's inexcusable: 這是不可饒恕的

wifebeater: 打老婆的男人 (口語)

不過wifebeater還有一個(gè)意思，就是男士背心

It comes from the stereotype that this is the kind of clothes that a wifebeater wears: 這來自于一種偏見，打老婆的人會穿這種背心

But it's not a very nice word in everyday use: 這個(gè)詞不太適合日常形容背心時(shí)用

友好分手: On good terms

分手離婚后也有關(guān)系處得好的：

leave on good terms: 分開時(shí)，還挺友好，

break up on good terms: 同上

We're still on good terms: 我們現(xiàn)在關(guān)系還不錯(cuò)

mutual decision, mutual breakup: 分手是雙方一致的決定

paparazzi: 狗仔

TMZ is a huge paparazzi machine in the US: TMZ是美國最有名(或臭名昭著)的八卦機(jī)器

Leak info: 爆料

A video was leaked to TMZ of Johnny Depp throwing a tantrum in front of his wife at home: 有人向TMZ泄露了德普在家對老婆大發(fā)雷霆的視頻

摩登家庭: Uncouple, Coparent

不是所有分手、離婚都鬧得雞飛狗跳，奧斯卡影后Gwenyth Paltrow和Cold Play主唱Chris Martin的離婚就被視為典范。兩人的聲明還造就了英語金句。

Gwenyth Paltrow and Chris Martin issued a joint statement that stated, "We consciouslyuncouple, but we coparent": Gwenyth Paltrow和Chris Martin分開時(shí)發(fā)的聯(lián)合聲明其中說到”我們深思熟慮后選擇分開，但還要一起做父母養(yǎng)育孩子”

Many people laughed at their choice of words, but it's a good attitude: 雖然很多人覺得他們的用詞太矯情，但是態(tài)度卻值得稱贊

有couple, 還有uncouple

uncouple, decouple (動詞): 分開，不再是一對

to parent (動詞): 撫養(yǎng)孩子、盡父母的責(zé)任

parent is both a noun and a verb: parent既是名詞也是動詞

To coparent is to work to raise your children together despite being divorced: coparent就是即使離婚了、分開了，還是要一起做父母
