You want some breakfast, too?

你也想吃點(diǎn)早餐嗎？

And down she sets her bowl on the brick floor brown,

她把碗在褐色的磚地上放下，

And little dog Rags drinks up her milk,

小狗“抹布”喝光了她的牛奶，

While she strokes his shaggy locks, like silk:

她抓他蓬松的毛毛，像柔軟的綢帶，

"Dear Rags!" says little Gustava.

“親愛的抹布！”小古斯塔瓦語調(diào)輕快。

Waiting without stood sparrow and crow,

沒人等待站著的麻雀和烏鴉，

Cooling their feet in the melting snow.

"Won't you come in, good folk?" she CRIed,

“你們不進(jìn)來嗎，善良的居民？”她呼喚，

But they were too bashful, and staid outside,

可是它們太害羞，寧愿留在外面，

"Though "Pray come in!" CRIed Gustava.

“請(qǐng)進(jìn)來吧！”古斯塔瓦還是大聲喊。

So the last she threw them, and knelt on the mat,

最后她把所有食物都往外拋，

With doves, and biddy, and dog, and cat.

跪在墊子上陪著鴿子、小雞、小狗和小貓，

And her mother came to the open house door:

打開屋門出來了她的媽媽，

Dear little daughter, I bring you some more,

親愛的小女兒，我再給你添一些吧，

My merry little Gustava.

我快樂的小古斯塔瓦。

Kitty and terrier, biddy and doves,

母雞和鴿子，小狗和貓崽，

All things harmless Gustava loves,

一切無害的動(dòng)物古斯塔瓦都喜愛，

The shy, kind creatures It is joy to feed,

喂養(yǎng)害羞、善良的生物真是賞心樂事，

And, oh! her breakfast is sweet indeed

還有，噢，她的早餐確實(shí)太好吃，

To happy little Gustava!
