There's a joke in offices about putting paperwork in the circular file. 辦公室里流傳著這樣一個(gè)玩笑，把文件放在環(huán)形文件夾(回收箱)里。

A file, "file," is usually a place where you put business documents that are related to each other. 一個(gè)文件夾，“文件夾”通常是放置相關(guān)業(yè)務(wù)文檔的地方。
