Lucy goes to "the fridge" and takes "out the eggs." 露西去“冰箱”拿“幾個(gè)雞蛋”。

The fridge, "fridge," is short for refrigerator. fridge是冰箱(refrigerator)的縮寫。

A refrigerator is where you put your food so it stays cold. To keep it cold, you put it in a refrigerator. 冰箱是可以冷藏食物的地方。通常把食物放進(jìn)冰箱是為了保持食物的低溫。

If you want it to be frozen, like ice, then you put your food in a freezer, "freezer." 如果你想冷凍食物，要放在冰柜(freezer)里。

Lucy takes out some eggs from the refrigerator. 露西從冰箱拿出幾個(gè)雞蛋。

Eggs, "eggs," are, in this case, things that come from a chicken. 蛋(eggs)在這里是雞生的蛋。

Before the chicken develops it begins as an egg, and this is, of course, a popular dish - a popular food for an American breakfast. 小雞破殼之前是一個(gè)雞蛋，雞蛋也是美式早餐中一道比較受歡迎的菜。

Lucy says that when she has time, she likes "to cook a hot breakfast," 露西說有時(shí)間的時(shí)候，她喜歡“做頓熱飯”，

so she takes out, or gets, a "frying pan," pours "a little oil in it," and turns "on the front burner on the stovetop." 所以她拿出，或者拿過“煎鍋”，倒“一點(diǎn)油”，打開“爐子”。

A frying pan, "frying pan," (two words) is a pan where you cook food. 煎鍋(frying pan)是用來烹飪食物的盤狀器皿。

Usually it's foods such as an egg or meat or vegetables, and it goes on top of heat, and the heat comes from the burner. 通常用煎鍋來加熱雞蛋，肉或者蔬菜這些食物。用煎鍋加熱食物的時(shí)候要放在爐子上，以從中獲取熱量。
