露西的一天 第12期:梳洗化妝講解(1)

Part two of "A Day in the Life of Lucy" is called "Cleaning Up and Putting on Make-up." 《露西的一天》第二部分題目是“梳洗化妝”。

To clean up is to clean yourself - to make yourself ready to go out of your house usually. 梳洗意思是洗漱清潔，通常是做好出門的準備。

To put on make-up needs to put something, usually, on your face that makes you look better. 化妝通常指在臉上抹些東西，讓自己看起來更好看。

This is something that women do. 這是女孩子們做的事。

I need make-up to make me look better because I'm so ugly, but I don't normally wear make-up. 我需要化妝讓自己形象好一點，因為我長得不好看，但我一般不化妝。

But, more about that later! 不過以后就不一定了。

Episode two begins with Lucy saying that she shares a bathroom with her roommate - the other woman that she lives with in her apartment. 第二課開始，露西說她和室友共用衛(wèi)生間，室友是跟她住同一個公寓的另一個女孩。

They share the bathroom - they have only one bathroom, this "is usually not a problem," however. 她們共用衛(wèi)生間，因為只有一個，不過這“也不成問題”。
