Excuses 借口

Change your beliefs and actions, and you change your future.

改變你的信念與行動(dòng)，你就能改變未來(lái)！

Some people go through life standing at the excuse counter.

有些人站在“借口”這一柜臺(tái)后虛度一生。

People say they’d like to do this or that, but…then they offer all the excuses in the world why they can’t do whatever it is, no matter what the excuses are, the only thing usually limiting them is their own self-perception.

有人說(shuō)，自己想做這個(gè)，想做那個(gè)，但是……于是便給出他們所能找到的各種借口，來(lái)解釋自己為什么不能去做這些事。無(wú)論借口是什么，大概唯一能限制他們行動(dòng)的只是他們的自我意識(shí)。

If I’ve learned anything, I’ve learned a people—any people—can do just about anything they sed their mind to. The only thing they need is a willingness to work for what you want, patience to learn what you need to know, and just a little bit of belief in yourself, but you only need a seed, your faith in yourself will grow with you as you move forward.

如果說(shuō)我學(xué)到了什么，那就是我意識(shí)到一個(gè)人——任何人——都可以做他決定想做的一切，你唯一需要的就是：為理想而努力的意志，學(xué)習(xí)所需知識(shí)的耐心和一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)自信。其實(shí)最需要的只是自信的一粒小小的種籽。自信會(huì)隨著你的進(jìn)步而增強(qiáng)。

If your self-perception is that you can’t accomplish something because you’re not smart enough, then take the time to learn what you need to know and your self-perception will change.

如果你自認(rèn)識(shí)不夠聰明而無(wú)法成功，那就花時(shí)間去學(xué)習(xí)你所需要的知識(shí)，這樣你的自我感覺就會(huì)改變。

If your self-perception is that you can’t accomplish something because you never finish anything you start, then go finish something and change your self-perception.

如果你認(rèn)為自己一向有始無(wú)終而無(wú)法成功，那就去做完一件事情來(lái)改變這種自我感覺。

If your self-perception is that you’re too lazy, too busy, too unworthy, too unfocused, too depressed, too dependent on others, too anything to accomplish great thing, then you’re right, you are that because you believe that, but you can change that!

如果你認(rèn)為自己太懶惰、太忙碌、太無(wú)足輕重、太不專心、太消沉、太依賴別人，太這樣太那樣而不能成大器，那么你是對(duì)的。你相信如此，便會(huì)如此，但你能改變一切！

Life is change, and the past doesn’t equal the future, your today is the result of your past beliefs and actions, change your beliefs and actions and you change your future, if you think you can or you can’t, you’re right, you are what you think.

生活無(wú)時(shí)無(wú)刻不在變化，過(guò)去不等于將來(lái)，你的現(xiàn)在是你過(guò)去的信念和行動(dòng)的結(jié)果，改變信念和行動(dòng)就會(huì)改變你的未來(lái)。你認(rèn)為自己能或不能，你都是對(duì)的。你就是你所認(rèn)為的樣子。

Think about that the next time you need an excuse.
