　　from 后面加人物名詞的話(huà)，hear from 就表示“從某人那里聽(tīng)到消息”，“通過(guò)某人聽(tīng)到消息”等，主要表達(dá)通過(guò)第三者了解消息。

　　例句：

　　I haven't heard from him since the porce.
