想要表示動作（事件）發(fā)生時間時，常常會用到ago、before、lately、later (on)、now、recently、then、today、tomorrow、tonight、yesterday等副詞。例如：I haven't seen her recently.（時間段）Will you be free tonight?（時間段）See you later.（時間點）

在副詞中，有相當一部分是用來表示頻度的。常見的有：always, constantly, continuously, continually, frequently, generally, hardly ever, never, normally, occasionally, periodically, rarely, regularly, repeatedly, seldom, sometimes, usually, now and then等。例如：She is constantly changing her mind./We do meet now and then, but not regularly.

英文知識——not和no

在英語中，表示否定的時候，我們經(jīng)常會遇到“not”和“no”，你知道兩者用法的區(qū)別嗎？要使一個句子或一個句子的某一部分為否定時，要用not, 而不用no.例如“學(xué)生們都去公園了，而不是老師”這句話，正確的說法是“The students went to the park, but not the teachers.”而不是“The students went to the park, but no the teachers.”。而且，no是一個限定詞，用在名詞前時，要注意這個名詞之前應(yīng)該沒有冠詞。
