587　right和correct

① right表示“正確的，對(duì)的”，側(cè)重道義上正當(dāng)?shù)?，合法的，反義詞是wrong。

It is quite right of you to think that way. 你那么考慮完全正確。

It's not right to tell lies. 說謊是不對(duì)的。

You are right，but he is wrong. 你是對(duì)的，但他錯(cuò)了。

② right作形容詞用，意為“合適的，恰好的”。

You should do the right thing at the right time. 你應(yīng)該在合適的時(shí)間做合適的事。

That's the right time to do it. 那是做事的恰當(dāng)時(shí)機(jī)。

③ right作名詞用，意為“右，右邊”，是left的反義詞。

Turn right at the second crossing. 在第二個(gè)十字路口向右轉(zhuǎn)。

He is standing on the right. 他站在右邊。

There is a bookstore on the right of the street. 街道右側(cè)有一家書店。

④ correct意為“正確的”，強(qiáng)調(diào)準(zhǔn)確，不出差錯(cuò)，也表示人的行為、舉止、服裝等“得體，適合”，反義詞是incorrect。
