558　problem和question

◎ problem和question都表示“問題”。

① problem指客觀存在的亟待解決的問題，尤其指那些難度大的或棘手的問題。搭配為：think about/raise/solve/settle/discuss/do/work out/a/the problem。

② question常指由于不能斷定或疑惑不解而提出的問題，等待回答，通常指一般問題或易解決的問題。搭配有：

ask sb. a question 問某人一個問題

put a question to sb. 向某人提一個問題

answer the question 回答問題

There is no question about+名詞或動名詞

without question 毫無問題

beyond question 毫無疑問

out of question 完全可能的，毫無疑問的

out of the question不可能的

③ question還可用作及物動詞，意為“詢問，對……提出疑問”。

He never questioned her about her difficulties. 他從不詢問她的困難。

The teacher questioned her on the story she had just read. 老師就她剛讀過的故事提問。

We don't question his ability. 我們不懷疑他的能力。
