553　prepare用法難點

① prepare意為“準(zhǔn)備，預(yù)備”，可用作及物動詞或不及物動詞，結(jié)構(gòu)為：

prepare sth.

prepare sb.+sth. （雙賓語）

prepare to do sth.

prepare sb. to do sth.

She is preparing her lessons. 她在準(zhǔn)備功課。

She prepared them a big supper. 她為他們準(zhǔn)備了一頓豐盛的晚餐。

He turned around and prepared to go downstairs. 他轉(zhuǎn)過身來，準(zhǔn)備下樓去。

He is preparing them to go on a holiday. 他在為他們?nèi)ザ燃僮鰷?zhǔn)備。

He is preparing supper. 他在做晚飯。（prepare的賓語必須是prepare動作的承受者）

He laid the table，preparing for supper. 他擺好了桌子，準(zhǔn)備吃晚飯。

② be prepared for sth.表示“為……做好準(zhǔn)備”，意同be ready for，表示狀態(tài)；be prepared to do sth.表示“做（好）準(zhǔn)備干什么”。

He is prepared for the question. 他對那個問題已有準(zhǔn)備。

They are prepared for the worst. 他們對最壞的事情做好了準(zhǔn)備。

She is prepared to do the work. 她已準(zhǔn)備好做那項工作。
