① near及其比較級(jí)和最高級(jí)nearer和nearest均可用作介詞或副詞，作介詞用時(shí)，near意為“靠近，在……的附近”，后跟名詞、代詞等。作副詞用時(shí)，near多指空間或時(shí)間上的“近”，放在動(dòng)詞后面，意為“在附近，近地”，后不可加賓語。near to，nearer to和nearest to也都是正確說法，后跟名詞或代詞。
He is sitting near the window. 他靠近窗戶坐著。
There are no shops near here. 這里附近沒有商店。
Please stand nearer. 請(qǐng)靠近些站。
He lives nearest to our school. 他住得離我們學(xué)校最近。
He lives quite near. 他住得很近。
