① get along意為“進展，過活，相處，上年紀，走開，滾開”。

He is not getting along very fast. 他進展很慢。

How are you getting along in the south？你在南方過得怎樣？

They got along very well. 他們相處得很好。

Her mother is sixty years old and getting along. 她母親已60歲，漸漸老了。

I must get along now. 我現(xiàn)在得走了。

② get along/on with sth.表示“（工作等）進展”，get along/on with sb.表示“與……相處”。

How is he getting along with his studies？他的學習進展怎樣？

③ get along without意為“沒有……也行，沒有……也能過下去”。
