On February 20th of this year, Vijay Sharma came home from a wedding to find his wife, Neelam, and pet dog murdered. Neelam and the dog had been stabbed to death. The house was in disarray and several valuable items were missing, among them cash and some very expensive jewelry.
After several days of investigating the local police had no leads and no suspects.
Around the same time, the family noticed a change in the behavior of their pet parrot, Heera, whenever their nephew came around. Every time the nephew came near the parrot’s cage, it would become agitated and squawk. One day, when Vijay said the name of the nephew in front of the parrot, it started squawking, “He killed. He killed.”
Immediately, Vijay took this information to the police. Next, the police brought the nephew in for questioning. Under questioning, the nephew soon confessed to the murder of his aunt. According to the police, the parrot provided the break that helped them solve the case.
