Thus far這個習(xí)語的意思是指從某物或某人被創(chuàng)造到現(xiàn)在的時間點(diǎn)之間的時間。中文翻譯為“迄今; 現(xiàn)在為止”。Thus far和另外一個短語so far的意思是一樣的，它們可以互換使用。
舉個例子，朋友兩個人就一本書展開了以下對話：
A: Hey, did you start reading that new book you bought the other day?
你讀那天你買的那本新書了嗎?
