美式英語中也說成where there's smoke, there's fire。

這個表達通常還會搭配這兩個詞：rumor和gossip。這兩個詞指的是在人與人之間傳播但尚未被證實為真實的故事或信息。它們通常是關于一些不好的事情。針對rumor和gossip，通常它們是there's no smoke without fire的。
