這是一個(gè)起源于19世紀(jì)早期的軍事術(shù)語。Active duty是指現(xiàn)役軍人。Reserve members指的是那些應(yīng)征入伍但目前沒有服役的人，翻譯成“預(yù)備役。隨著時(shí)間的推移，人們開始偶爾用這個(gè)表達(dá)來指從事某項(xiàng)全職工作的人，不管是不是軍人。

A: Are you graduating at the end of this year?
